Health Research & Patient Advocacy
Episodic cluster headache since 2013. Over a decade of sustained silence via the Vitamin D Regimen. I'm a patient, a researcher and a staunch supporter of everyone fighting this condition.
I was first hit by cluster headache in 2013. Episodic, meaning it arrived on a schedule: November through March, every year, with a precision that was almost mechanical. For anyone unfamiliar with the condition, the clinical nickname tells you most of what you need to know. The suicide headache. Unilateral pain around the eye and temple, so severe that the only rational response is to pace, rock and wait.
I found the Vitamin D Regimen through the work of Pete Batcheller and the Cluster Busters community, and it changed my life. I have been in sustained remission for over eleven years. That experience didn't make me want to move on. It made me want to go deeper.
I became a researcher because the science deserved someone willing to read it carefully and communicate it clearly. I became an advocate because the community deserves better than it gets from mainstream medicine. I became a Cluster Busters supporter because they were there when I needed them.
The Cluster Headache Research Hub is my attempt to build the resource I wish had existed when I was diagnosed. A single, searchable home for cluster headache research dating back to 1947, a corpus of community experience and an AI trained on the literature so patients and clinicians can ask real questions and get real answers.
It's currently open. That won't be the case indefinitely. If you want continued access once it transitions to invite-only, reach out now.
The Vitamin D Regimen for cluster headache was developed and refined over more than a decade of real-world patient data. Pete Batcheller brought this information to the cluster headache community and it changed the trajectory of countless lives, including mine.
I host vitamindregimen.com as a way to pay that forward. The site is dedicated to documenting the regimen clearly, accurately and accessibly, so that every person who finds it can understand what it involves and make an informed decision about trying it.
I don't make money from this. It's a resource. And it's there because I believe the information should be easy to find.
A dedicated resource for cluster headache patients exploring the high-dose Vitamin D3 regimen. Includes protocol details, supporting research and guidance for discussing it with your doctor.
This site exists to pay forward the work of Pete Batcheller, whose contribution to the cluster headache community is immeasurable.

Inspired Conversations is where I explore cluster headache, the Vitamin D Regimen, patient advocacy and the intersection of science and lived experience. What started as conversations about a handful of seemingly unrelated topics has evolved into something I find genuinely exciting: the discovery that those topics are deeply connected.
Fatherlessness, cluster headache, vocal chord dysfunction, Vitamin D3. I'm still tracing the threads.
