Section 01Who these terms are with

This website is owned and operated by Craig Edward Stewart, based in Auckland, New Zealand. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Craig Edward Stewart, and "you" means anyone who visits or uses the site.

These terms apply to craigedwardstewart.com and every section of it, including the health and podcast pages, the blogs, the Cluster Headache Research Hub, the speaking and booking pages, the real estate and Above The Fold pages, and any tool or calculator hosted here. Some products have their own additional terms. Where a product page has its own terms, those terms apply to that product and these terms cover everything else.

Section 02Accepting these terms

By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the site. If you use the site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.

Section 03Health content is not medical advice

Reading this site, subscribing to the newsletter, commenting, or contacting Craig does not create a doctor and patient relationship or any other professional care relationship. Craig is a patient, researcher and advocate, not a clinician.

Where articles describe treatments, doses, devices, oxygen flow rates, supplements or protocols, they are reporting what published research, public statements or patient communities have said. They are not instructions for you to follow. Many of the treatments discussed on this site are prescription medicines or prescribed medical gases, some are controlled substances in New Zealand and elsewhere, and all of them carry real risks. Decisions about your own treatment belong with you and your doctor.

Do not delay seeking care, disregard advice you have been given, or start, stop or change a treatment because of something you read here.

Section 04Inspired Conversations and guests

Inspired Conversations is an interview podcast. Guests speak for themselves. Their views, claims, figures and recommendations are their own, and publishing an interview is not an endorsement of everything a guest says.

Where a guest reports their own numbers, such as a personal blood result, a dose, or the outcome of their own small study, articles attribute those figures to that guest. They are that person's statements in a recorded conversation, not measurements we have taken or verified, and they should not be read as established fact.

Guests appear voluntarily. Where a guest has asked for a correction or a clarification, we will make it. If you are a guest and something needs amending, please get in touch.

Section 05Advocacy and community reports

Part of this site is patient advocacy work: pushing for better oxygen access, clearer guidance for GPs, and a better information environment for people living with cluster headache in New Zealand and beyond. That work is done in good faith and in public.

Some of the research on this site draws on anonymised community reports, questionnaire responses and pooled patient experience. This material is observational. It is not a clinical trial, it has not been peer reviewed unless a page says so explicitly, and it cannot tell you what will happen to you. Sample sizes are often small and self selected. Please read it with that in mind.

Some reports are shared privately with named individuals or groups through unlisted or access controlled pages. If you have been given access to one of those, please treat it as shared in confidence and do not republish or forward it without asking first.

Section 06Tools and questionnaires

This site hosts free interactive tools, including questionnaires, breathing practice tools and calculators. They are provided for information and interest only.

• Screening questionnaires are not diagnostic. A score is not a diagnosis of anything, medical or psychological. Only a qualified professional can assess you properly.
• Pooled results are indicative. Where a tool shows you how a group scored, that group is made up of self selected website visitors who told us their own status. It is not a controlled sample.
• Breathing and practice tools carry ordinary risks. Stop if you feel unwell, and check with your doctor first if you have a respiratory, cardiac or other relevant condition.
• Calculators are estimates. Commission, marketing and other figures are illustrative and depend on inputs you supply. Do not use them as the basis of a financial decision without professional advice.

Section 07Real estate and business content

The real estate, auctioneering, marketing and Above The Fold material on this site is general commentary and opinion. It is not financial, investment, legal, tax or property valuation advice, and it is not an appraisal or an offer of real estate agency services. Property markets change, and what worked in one market or campaign may not work in yours.

If you are making a decision about buying, selling, listing or investing, get advice from a licensed professional who knows your situation.

Section 08Comments and conduct

Some articles accept comments. Comments are moderated: they are held until reviewed and only published if approved. We can decline, edit or remove any comment for any reason, and we are under no obligation to publish one.

When you post a comment or send us material, you agree not to submit anything that:

• is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful or threatening
• gives specific medical advice or instructions to another reader
• promotes the sale or supply of prescription medicines or controlled substances
• identifies another person, or shares their health information, without their consent
• infringes someone else's copyright, trade mark or confidentiality
• is spam, advertising, or an attempt at search engine manipulation
• contains malware, or is used to probe, scrape or overload the site

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you give us a non exclusive, royalty free, worldwide licence to display, store, moderate and reproduce your comment on this site and in connection with it. Do not post anything you are not comfortable being public. Please use a nickname rather than your full name if you are discussing your own health.

Section 09Email and newsletters

If you subscribe, we will send you occasional updates about new articles, episodes, research and events. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time by replying or using the contact page. Enquiry, booking and application forms are used to reply to you and to run the thing you asked about.

How that information is handled is set out in the privacy policy.

Section 10Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the writing, photography, video, audio, artwork, code and design on this site are owned by Craig Edward Stewart or used with permission. Podcast episodes, article text and report content remain ours.

Third party material, including quotations from published research, guest contributions, and logos, remains the property of its owner and is used for commentary, reporting and education with attribution.

Section 11Permitted use

You are welcome to:

• read, print and save pages for your own personal or clinical reference
• share links to any public page, anywhere
• quote a short extract for comment, study or news reporting, with attribution and a link back
• show a page to your doctor, your family, or your support group

Please do not, without written permission:

• republish substantial parts of an article, report or transcript elsewhere
• scrape or bulk download the site, or use automated tools to harvest content
• use the content to train, fine tune or ground a commercial AI model or dataset
• use the content commercially, or in a way that suggests we endorse you
• remove attribution, or present the work as your own

If you want to use something and are not sure whether it is covered, just ask. Requests from patient organisations, clinicians and researchers are usually welcome.

Section 12Third party links and embeds

This site links to research databases, news articles, patient organisations, guest websites and social platforms, and embeds video from YouTube. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

Section 13Availability and changes

The site is provided as it is and as it is available. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error free, or permanently available, and we may add, change, move or remove pages, tools and features at any time. Access to gated areas, including the Cluster Headache Research Hub and private reports, may be changed, limited or withdrawn.

We work hard to keep the health content accurate and current, but research moves. Older articles reflect what was known when they were written and are not continuously updated.

Section 14Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss, damage, cost or injury arising from your use of this site, from reliance on anything published here, from any treatment decision you make, from your use of a tool or calculator, or from the site being unavailable. This includes indirect and consequential loss.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us, if anything, for the relevant content or service.

You agree to reimburse us for any claim brought against us because of content you posted or your misuse of the site.

Section 15New Zealand consumer law

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986 or other consumer law that cannot be contracted out of. Where you acquire goods or services from us for the purposes of a business, the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply and sections 9, 12A, 13 and 14(1) of the Fair Trading Act are excluded, as those Acts allow.

Section 16Governing law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have non exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are reading this from somewhere else, you are responsible for complying with your own local laws, which may treat some of the treatments and substances discussed here very differently.

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of them still apply.

Section 17Updates to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives at this address, with the effective date at the top of the page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
